Special Olympics

CDS Monarch Special Olympics is volunteer-based and governed by CDS Monarch and Special Olympics International with a local structure guided by Genesee Region of NY State Special Olympics. The Genesee region is composed of eleven counties. Monroe and Wayne counties border the northern region and Steuben borders the southern region.

Special Olympics is open to all CDS Monarch individuals (Residential, day program, or have CDS Monarch Service Coordinator). Due to volunteer limitations, CDS Monarch athletes must be over 21 years old. Younger interested participants can inquire. Other special accommodations can be made.
