The seventh annual Strikes for Abilities was held by the Wolf Foundation to raise funds for CDS Monarch.

The bowling party brought hundreds out in support of unfunded recreational activities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

"The individuals need equipment. They need supplies, they need uniforms, they need transportation to and from events, they need traveling accommodations so, it's really critical that with no state funding that we can create our own funds for this," said Sankar Sewnauth, CDS Monarch president and CEO.

The organization is expecting to raise about $30,000 from the event.
