Community Education Series: Managed Long Term Care As an Alternative for People with IDD

If you or your loved one are in need of services to support you to live at home or remain independent in the community, please consider attending this important educational session about managed long term care services! This session will focus on what MLTC is and how it can provide an alternative option for care and services for you and/or your loved one. iCircle Care will provide information on eligibility requirements and the assessment process.

 iCircle Care is a not-for-profit Medicaid Managed Long Term Care plan (MLTC) serving 22 counties throughout Upstate NY.  iCircle Care is committed to helping those who are chronically ill or have a disability and  require community-based long-term care services, find and receive the care and treatment for their situation. iCircle Care can assist eligible individuals with services such as personal care, nursing, meals, non-emergent medical transportation and therapy services right at home!  iCircle Care is currently helping people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities who qualify, to live and remain independent in their communities.

Our Guest Speakers:

Debbie Litzenberger, Vice President of Clinical Operations for iCircle Care. She earned her Masters of Health Systems Administration from Roberts Wesleyan and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Rochester. Her background includes pediatrics at Strong Hospital, Community Health Nursing and transitioning patients into Managed Care.

Mike Mahler, Communications and Outreach Specialist at iCircle Care. He earned his Bachelors of Science from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He has an extensive background in working with individuals with IDD.
