Community Recreation

CDS Monarch offers a variety of person-centered activities, for the community as well as to individuals who are living independently, or at home with their families.

Children's Recreation Program

Children interact in an integrated setting with full access to the therapy pool, creative arts studio, and media center.  Children are encouraged to participate in arranged activities and special events that promote community integration.   

Schedule:  Monday- Friday, and 2 Saturdays per month. 

Time: 3:30-5:30pm 

Ages:  children 5-12 with disabilities

Wolf Life Transitions Center Recreation
This is a therapy-based program, that helps individuals work toward skills they can recreate that will help them live independently in the community. Participants have access to a therapy pool, creative arts studio, model apartment, fitness center, garden center, music & dance studio, and media center. Community inclusion is also encouraged through activities such as attending plays, community events, visiting museums & historic sites and participating in community service projects. One-way transportation is provided.   

Schedule/Time: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays; 3:30-5:30pm

Tuesdays & Thursdays; 1:30pm-3: 30pm

2 Saturdays per month

Ages: individuals ages 13 and up
