On October 16th and October 17th the New York State Fall Games were held in Glens Falls, New York. Approximately 1,000 athletes and coaches from all points in New York State attended the games. CDS Monarch had 18 athletes and six coaches among the attendees.

The CDS Monarch soccer team came home with a Gold Medal, defeating Buffalo and Hudson Valley to win Division II. The team consisted of Pam D., Lauren D., Matt G., Marc D., Eric J., Ken K., Ken M., Justin P., Amanda V., and Ryan T. The team was coached by George Vito, Ed Mosta, Sharon Vito, and Clark Taylor.

CDS Monarch also had two Bocce teams competing against Cayuga and Long Island. Of the 60 teams competing, our two teams ended up in the same division based on register skill levels. Team B, consisting of Kevin M., Craig N., David P., and Kris W., took the gold medal, and Team A earned fourth place.  Team A, coached was Aimee Warden, consisted of John B., David M., Wayne P., and Josh M.
