Special Olympics

CDS Monarch Special Olympic athletes participated in the Super Regional Bocce Tournament on Saturday, September 12th at the Toccolana Club in Rome, New York.

CDS Monarch had four teams competing, along with other Special Olympians from the Genesee Region, Central Region (Syracuse), the Capital Region (Albany) and the Southern Tier Region (Binghamton).

All four of our teams earned the silver medal in their respective divisions.

Special Olympics is currently into soccer practice with the tournament on Saturday, September 26th, followed by the New York State Fall Games on October 16th and 17th in Glens Falls, New York.

Bowling practice begins Sunday, October 4th at Empire Lanes in Webster from noon to 2:00 p.m. with the tournament November 7th.
