Becky Marquardt began her career at CDS Monarch in August 2000 as an Assistant in the Accounts Payable office. After one year, she transferred to the Family Support Services (FSS) department, and has been their Administrative Assistant ever since. Becky handles the billing, manages the department archives, does audits of purged materials, maintains department rosters, and assists with correspondence for the Medicaid Service Coordinators. She also fields questions and gathers information when the managers are not available, and is a member of the CDS Monarch Wellness Committee. Recently, Becky stepped in to help the Community Transitions program with staff followups, billing, and documentation, while they are in a transition period. During a recent BPC audit Becky also played a key role in obtaining all of the documentation that needed to be submitted.

Becky says that she likes "being able to work independently, supporting the management team, and being in a large department where she has a lot of variety and interaction with the team members." Her advice to her fellow staff members is that "a positive attitude will get you through anything. You just have to make the decision to be happy, it's that easy."

"Overall, Becky is very knowledgeable about the services and required documentation for the programs and is therefore able to assist the managers and MSCs with a lot of their responsibilities when needed," stated Mindy Kirby, Director of Community Services. "She is a huge asset to FSS, and to the agency, and she has played a big part in helping our department to get to where it is today."

"Becky is efficient, hard working and makes sure things get done. She is always there to help out and provide assistance when someone needs it," stated Jennifer Kitto, MSC Program Manager. "She jumps in with both feet to assist with any and all changes and always has great ideas on how to make things better."

In her free time Becky enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, decorating, and recently started golfing.

Becky has just accepted a new position with iCircle Services. In a couple of weeks she will take on the Enrollment Coordinator role, where she will assist people to enroll in the iCircle MLTC plan, once the plan has been officially approved by the NYS Department of Health.

Thank you Becky for all that you do for CDS Monarch, in support of the people we assist! Your compassion and professionalism sets a great example for all of us to follow.
