Once a week, a group of approximately 10 people get together for a Career Prep Club meeting. The club first formed last fall, for the purpose of helping transform individuals into candidates for community employment by providing them with job search, interview and workplace readiness skills. Due to popular demand, the club is currently holding its second 7-week session. Those who participated in the first session feel as though they have greater independence and self-reliance when it comes to the job search process.
