Warrior Salute™, a service of CDS Monarch, along with the Max and Marian Farash Charitable Foundation, Nazareth College Office of Veterans' Affairs, and Monroe Community College, presented a symposium to help Veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury, on October 2nd, at Monroe Community College.
Sometimes the hardest journey for our servicemen, women and their families is the one home. Serve. Honor. Support. brought together 115 Veterans, family members, service providers and therapists for a keynote presentation by Dr. Charles Hoge a retired U.S. Army Veteran and author of "Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior." This is a progressive outreach initiative offered not only guidance for our Veterans, but a community of care for our servicemen and women, their families, and their caregivers.
In addition to the keynote presentation, attendees took part in several breakout sessions, a panel discussion, a resource fair, and an awards celebration to honor those helping Veterans in our community.
