Chrissy Carroll first came to CDS Monarch as an intern in January 2009. After completing a year long internship with the Behavior Services department, she was hired on as a full time Behavior Specialist at the Wolf Life Transitions Center for the three day programs there. In her role, Chrissy assists individuals when they are dealing with difficult challenges, maintains Behavior Support Plans and Caretracker information, trains staff on these plans, and attends ISP meetings for individuals. Additionally, she is a SCIP instructor, runs social groups for the individuals, organizes a volunteer outing to the Scottsville Veterinary Adoptions and serves on the Human Rights Committee.

"Chrissy is a wonderful staff person who truly cares about the individuals she serves. Each support group she offers focuses on the emotional needs of the individuals. The advantage of these support groups is in helping the individuals realize that they are not alone. This is often a huge relief to the individuals we serve. Chrissy always makes time to support each individual at the Wolf Life Transition Center. She is a great asset to the program and the agency," stated Derek Janto, Program Manager.

"Working with the individuals is the best. These guys are such endearing individuals and they really know how to turn your day around for the better," says Chrissy. She also shares that it's important to "be flexible, and don't take things personally or too seriously."

Chrissy's free time is occupied by three dogs and two cats, yoga, reading, cooking, jogging, and school. Thank you Chrissy for all that you do at CDS Monarch!
