Sib Shops is a unique program developed by CDS Monarch that addresses the importance of peer support and education for the siblings of people living with disabilities. Participants have the opportunity to learn from one another and share through fun activities in a relaxed environment.

The Sib Shops program coordinator and facilitators are eager to initiate a new program format beginning January 2013. As a result of feedback from participants, the program will now be comprised of two age groups. This will allow facilitators to address age-appropriate topics, and also engage school age participants in activities that are of interest to children ages 5-12 and 13-18. The 2013 January-June program schedule is full of fun activities developed with input from the 2012 program participants.
