Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had an enjoyable holiday season spent with family and friends!

2013 is here, and that means new beginnings and new opportunities for all of us. These first couple of weeks are a good time for all of us to set new goals and priorities for the year ahead. I know that all of our teams and departments are as excited as I am to see what this 2013 will bring for all of us at CDS Monarch.

The Wolf Foundation is already beginning to gear up for the 6th Annual "Strikes for Abilities" Bowling Party, to be held March 10th at Clover Lanes. The volunteer committee is forming, planning and has begun their fundraising efforts early, to beat their goal from last year.

This is also the time when our Special Olympics athletes and teams, supported by the funds raised from "Strikes for Abilities", are gearing up for their Winter sports, like snowshoeing, bowling and floor hockey. We wish them all the best of luck at their upcoming competitions and Winter Games!

I am truly looking forward to a great 2013, and I couldn't ask for a better team of staff, families, individuals, volunteers and community members to help make this year even better than the last!
