Unistel has been doing business with Harris Corporation for many years, and even has a work room dedicated to Harris products at the Wolf Life Transitions Center. Last week, a group of Unistel employees who work on the Harris radios were invited to take a tour of Harris Corporation's Demo Room, which shows a mock setup of their radios in the field.

During the visit, Unistel workers Eugene F., David M., Victoria C.,  Yamilette V. and Andrew M. learned about Harris' aerial imaging software, made communications from a HumVee, and checked out some of the products Harris creates to keep our Military safe. The group also watched a video on how the products work in the field and the importance of quality work and how it leads to saving lives.

It was a great learning experience everyone who attended. Unistel would like to thank Harris for organizing the tour, as well as for recognizing Unistel employees in celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month in October. Harris has also committed to supporting our Warrior Salute Veterans through SERVE, a new Employee Resource group at Harris focusing on Supporting Emergency Responders and Veteran's Engagement. Thank you Harris for all that you do!
