Judy Murrin has been working as a support specialist at the Harris Road residence for five years. She helps her residents at Harris Road in the mornings by preparing and serving breakfast, assisting them with their personal hygiene, helping them with medications, cleaning the home, doing laundry, and getting to their appointments. She is also an advocate for two of her residents and even helped decorate the entire house when it was redone!

Judy's favorite part of her job is being able to interact with her residents, even early in the morning, "I'm the type of person who has the radio on and is dancing around the house at 6 o'clock in the morning!"

A favorite story of Judy's is when she was taking one of her individuals, Mark, to a doctor appointment. He overheard her telling a fellow staff member that she would like to take a vacation and he offered to take her to the "Bee-hamas".

"She really means a lot to him," said Mark's mother, Jackie. "He talked about her when he was home. As a parent, I can't tell you how much it means to have someone like her as an advocate."

When she isn't working at CDS Monarch, Judy can be found at her second job in daycare. In her rare free time, Judy enjoys swimming in her pool and drinking coffee. She also likes to spend time with her two granddaughters.

Thank you Judy for all of your hard work and dedication to the individuals and staff at Harris Road!
