On Thursday, July 19th, staff members and individuals from Transitions hosted a Block Party to raise money for their summer picnic and for breast cancer.
The staff and individuals from Transitions spent a month planning this event. The Block Party included a photoboth and a line dancing lesson and they also sold cookies and raffle tickets. The individuals from Transitions helped bake cookies and stuffed the goodie bags that contained baked goods.
Transitions always tries to make an effort to give back. They wanted to host a Block Party to put out the word for breast cancer and to remind everyone to "always think pink, not just in October but throughout the year."
All involved with Block Party had a wonderful time while raising money and awareness for a great cause.
