CDS Monarch and The Wolf Foundation have a number of different volunteer options for anyone who is interested! Many opportunities revolve around our important fundraising activities.

Volunteers are still needed for our 25th Annual Golf Tournament, "Teeing off for Abilities" on Monday, July 16th at Locust Hill Country Club. If anyone has a particular interest in golf, we are still in need of ball spotters. There are also volunteer openings for people who would like to help with registration and breakfast.

Our pancake breakfast, "Shortstack Saturday", will be taking place on August 25th. Families and community members are encouraged to become involved in this activity that is raising money for our Families in Need Fund.

In the early December, the bowling committee will start meeting to begin planning the annual "Strikes for Abilities" event. The committee will meet more frequently in January after the holiday season. This event benefits unfunded health and wellness activities at CDS Monarch.

Every April is CDS Monarch's Autism Awareness Fair. This is a family friendly event with a variety of child-friendly activities and entertainment. We encourage anyone who would like to help with this event to contact us!

The Family Advocacy Network is not strictly a volunteer opportunity, but it is still a wonderful way for anyone to become involved! The group is for CDS Monarch families and any community members interested in advocating for services and funding for people with disabilities.

We also have many internship opportunities at CDS Monarch for any college students looking to gain some career experience! Interns are able to receive in-depth experience in everything that we do, while earning credit for college.

And if you have any unique interests and talents you would like to share with our day services individuals, you are welcome to contact the agency.

CDS Monarch has many ways to become involved through volunteering, whether it is with fundraising, event planning or volunteering at events, or in the daily program. For more information please contact Amber Johnson at (585) 347-1205.
