Veterans from Warrior Salute ventured to the Adirondack Mountains for a camping trip from June 8th-June 11th. Five Veterans, two staff members, and one facilitator went on the trip.

The trip was filled with many fun, outdoor activities. The first day of the trip began with white water rafting on the Black River in Watertown. They then headed to facilitator Kent Winchester's, owner of Rock Ventures and Shared Adventures, cabin on Cranberry Lake and enjoyed dinner at the Pine Cone Restaurant.

On Saturday the group climbed to Cathedral Rock and climbed the fire tower there. Later they spent the day riding on a Pontoon boat and fishing.

Sunday involved hiking up Cat Mountain and rappelling down it. The evening was spent around a bonfire roasting marshmallows and going for rides on the raft attached to the boat.

All who attended had a wonderful time enjoying the great outdoors and spending time with one another.
