On Tuesday, April 17th Blended Creative Opportunities and the Creative Arts Program Without Walls went on a tour of the Army base at the Rochester International Airport. Everyone hopped on a bus for a quick ride from the airport to the Army base where they were greeted by a group of soldiers. One of the soldiers led them on a tour through the hangars where everyone enjoyed checking out all the different types of aircrafts, and seeing photos from some of the soldier's missions. Everyone's favorite part of the tour was getting to go inside of the planes and helicopters to see what they were like, and learning about the things they are used for. Then at the end of the tour, everyone got to enjoy a special up close air show, put on just for them! Some of the individuals commented that "it was one of the coolest tours we've ever been on!"
