CDS Monarch is proud to announce a new initiative called the Family Advocacy Network (FAN) which is a group of families advocating for services and funding for their loved ones with disabilities. It is a changing time in New York State as it relates to services for people with disabilities. The Family Advocacy Network will bring CDS Monarch families together to become one powerful voice and work to preserve what we have. It will also help to increase awareness, advocacy and connections among families served by CDS Monarch.
The Volunteer Chairs for FAN are Tim and Laura Feathers, whose son Phil lives at Marshall Road and attends day services at Webster Creative Opportunities.  So far the group has held two meetings to get to know one another, and begin discussing topics such as the 1115 Waiver, the NYS s3167 Bill and other ways to advocate for services.

Anyone interested in becoming a part of the group is invited to contact the Feathers' at for more details or call 585-347-1208.
