The Special Olympics program at CDS Monarch includes individuals we serve, as well as others from our community. It is an unfunded program and as such, to keep it viable we have used the bowling event as our primary fundraiser to support the needs of the program. The funds raised at our annual "Strikes for Abilities" bowling event allows us to provide uniforms, equipment, transportation, and even add teams for new sports like snowshoeing. The program continues to be successful because of the generosity of our community; our donors and businesses. We are very grateful for the leadership of family members in organizing and running the event.

I hope that you will all be able to join us on Sunday, March 11th from 1-4pm at Clover Lanes for our 5th Annual "Strikes for Abilities" Bowling Party.  It is an event that I look forward to every year.

If you would like to avoid the registration line on the day of the event, I encourage you to attend our Bowling Pre-Registration Party on Friday, March 2nd from 6-9pm at the Wolf Life Transitions Center.  You can register, reserve your lane and turn in your pledges to date. It will be a fun evening of activities for the whole family with Wii Bowling, carnival games, karaoke, refreshments and more. Thank you again for your support of CDS Monarch's Special Olympics athletes.
