Tyrone S. was recognized with a 2011 DDSO Works For Me Award nomination for 15 years of excellent service at Chartwells at Nazareth College! The following is an excerpt from his nomination form submitted by Christina Scoby, CDS Monarch Supported Employment Program Manager:

"Tyrone lights up when he speaks about his job at Nazareth. During the time he has been an employee, his job responsibilities have changed to allow him the opportunity to complete numerous tasks and gain knowledge. In October 2010, Tyrone was selected as Employee of the Month! The power of working has greatly increased Tyrone's independence. He gets himself to work on time for every shift, he maintains a high level of independence within the community and he is actively involved in the local Boys and Girls Club, as well as his church. Tyrone feels he is a valued employee and he maintains excellent communication with his coworkers and supervisors."

Tyrone told us, "I know my job will always be there for me and I can help other people do their job!"

Congratulations, Tyrone! Keep up the great work!
