Flowers were sold at the Wolf Life Transitions Center for $1.50 each and hand-delivered on Valentine's Day. Each flower came with a handmade red or pink message tag tied with a pretty red ribbon. A total of $180.00 was raised. Fifty percent of the profit made from the fundraiser will benefit the Daystar program which aides medically fragile infants, from newborn to three years old. The remaining profit will be used to plan future events.
Because this event was so successful, the Blended Transitions Event Planning Group is coordinating another Carnation sale for St. Patrick's Day. The group will start taking orders on March 7th through March 11th. The flowers will be delivered on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th.
